Types of Window Installation
Many people do not realize there are two types of window installation. There is full-frame installation and also what is called pocket installation. At Erskine & Sons, we provide installation for both scenarios. We will assess your home to decide which type of installation is needed for your windows. Factors we consider when determining – age of your home, condition of your home, the exterior material, if there is damage, and budget and time. Full-frame installation is the total replacement of your window(s). Pocket installation is simply replacing the window within the existing frame.
